Adaptation B: Simple Turnaround

Without yet following the turnaround tutorial, I have made this simple turanround of the building using a basic camera that pans around it. I'm really quite pleased with this, as the lighting works well with the model. I especially like how the shadows and reflections work on the base that the building sits on. I did, however, have to change the quality from HD 1080 to HD 720, as it was taking far too long. I will now go and complete that tutorial.

  1. Looking really good dan, I think the rotation was a bit too fast for me to see all the detail though.

    1. Thanks Jack. That was something I noticed too, but due to timing, it would take too long to render. I tried 200 frames at first, which was slower, but was taking too long and so I had to make a full rotation be 100 frames long.

  2. 150 frames? I'd also suggest that your camera angle is not doing your building justice. Lower the camera down instead on a birds eye view...also a wireframe render?

    1. I'm doing the wireframe tutorial now, with the camera being at a much better angle and slower.
