Adobe Illustrator: 27/02/2015

Last week, we were introduced to Adobe Illustrator. I found it very similar to photoshop, but it had some elements that were easier to understand and some that were a bit harder. We went through a couple of exercises during the session. First, we were playing around with all the simple tools, like the brush and shape tools. They were all easy to use as they were effectively the same as what you get in photoshop, with a few interface related differences.

We then had to choose a logo that we could re-create using a reflection tool. I chose the Batman logo as it is reasonably easy to do. It is a bit wonky in places and some of the curves aren't perfectly round, but it will still a good way to learn about what Illustrator can do.
